Anti-Ragging Committee
In accordance with the guidelines of the IQAC and regulatory bodies (UGC, NCTE), the Anti-Ragging Committee of Jaspuria B.Ed. College, Bisa, Ranchi is hereby constituted to ensure a safe, disciplined, and ragging-free academic environment for all students. This committee shall function with immediate effect.
Vision
To maintain a ragging-free, inclusive, and learner-friendly campus that upholds dignity, discipline, and ethical values.
Objectives
- To prevent and prohibit ragging in all forms within the institution.
- To ensure strict compliance with UGC/State Government anti-ragging regulations.
- To create a safe and supportive environment, especially for first-year students.
- To promote mutual respect, harmony, and responsible behaviour.
- To ensure prompt, transparent, and effective redressal of ragging-related complaints.

Functions & Responsibilities
- To implement UGC/IQAC-recommended policies and preventive strategies related to anti-ragging.
- To conduct orientation, sensitization, and awareness programmes for students.
- To ensure timely submission of Anti-Ragging Undertakings by students and parents on the UGC portal.
- To monitor student conduct and maintain a Zero-Tolerance Policy towards ragging.
- To receive, examine, and dispose of complaints confidentially as per UGC guidelines.
- To maintain proper documentation, meeting records, and Action Taken Reports (ATR) for NAAC compliance.
