Discipline & Code of Conduct Committee

The Discipline & Code of Conduct Committee of Jaspuria B.Ed. College is constituted in accordance with IQAC guidelines to uphold discipline, ethical behaviour, and institutional values across the campus. The committee plays a crucial role in fostering a positive academic environment where integrity, respect, and professionalism are embedded in day-to-day functioning.

To cultivate a disciplined, ethical, safe, and respectful academic atmosphere that encourages integrity, accountability, and institutional excellence among all stakeholders.

Objectives

Promote discipline and ethical behaviour among students, faculty, and staff.
Formulate, monitor, and implement the institutional Code of Conduct in line with UGC and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure a harmonious, inclusive, and professionally conducive environment.
Create awareness about the rights, duties, and responsibilities of all stakeholders.
Address issues related to misconduct, indiscipline, or unethical practices through fair, transparent, and time-bound processes.
Maintain documentation including minutes, reports, and action-taken records as required for IQAC.

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparing, displaying, and periodically reviewing the institutional Discipline Policy & Code of Conduct.
Organizing orientation and sensitization programs for students and staff.
Ensuring proper implementation of Code of Conduct processes across the campus.
Monitoring disciplinary issues and maintaining case reports, resolutions, and ATRs.
Preserving documentation for IQAC records.
Promoting a campus culture that is safe, respectful, and value-driven.
